We like to try local places for breakfast when we travel and after passing Aunt D's several times we decided we had to eat here. We stopped in on a Sunday morning and it was quite busy. A table had just come available and someone quickly cleaned it for us. Our server was very friendly. This is obviously a place the locals go, but we weren't treated as strangers. Eggs were cooked just like I like them. I had eggs, ham, and hashbrowns. The piece of ham was quite large. My husband had a ham and cheese omelet and hashbrowns. There was a large amount of ham in the omelet and cheese inside and on top of the omelet.
They are open for breakfast and lunch and they had a sign up that they would be open on Thanksgiving, but closing early so that they can go home and be with their families. They have some tables outside. Inside looks just like how a diner should look! The chairs are upholstered in yellow and red... Reminds me of mustard and ketchup!
We'll be back next time we're in town.
