The food was very good. The restaurant could use a thorough cleaning. We we're told the collards we're the number one side dish ordered. I could not eat them...way too much vinegar and garlic for me. The brisket was very good, as well as the mac & cheese and corn bread.

After reading the reviews to this restaurant and liking the sister restaurant Crawdaddy's just behind this restaurant. We gave a try, they had 2 smokers in the parking lot smoking some food, few picnic tables outside, small dining room inside. After ordering our beverages, we glanced over the menu for our dinner item.
I Placed an order for St Louis ribs, but the server informs us that they are out of the ribs, at 5 pm they don't have St Louis ribs but have baby backs, I can't understand how a BBQ restaurant can run out of ribs. My wife decided not to order anything else except for her brew, I did order the fried cat fish dinner, with side order of mac and cheese with collard green. When the waitress brought my plate, she mention right away that one of the fish fillet fell apart and they are cooking another for me.
The fish was very good, hot, nicely breaded with corn meal, the collard green also very good, some pork visible in the meal, they do prepare with vinegar, as to mac and cheese just average, not creamy but sticky. Overall service was good, running out of ribs for a bbq place not forgivable. Prices for beer are on the high side, they classify Michelob Ultra as specialty beer and charge you a premium price.

My husband and I love this place! The fried green tomatoes are a must try!!! The food is great and well priced and the service matches the quality. We've had the same waitress, Anna several times and she's very informative and always has a smile on her face!
