We dropped in late on a Friday without reservations and they sat us immediately even with a full restaurant. The atmosphere was very romantic and upscale. Brandon our server was terrific. It was late and we didn't want to eat a lot but the menu had so many good things to pick from we compromised on Ahi Tuna Caprese with mini heirloom tomatoes...yum. We split a spinach salad with mini mushroom and Parmesan Crusted Cobia with lobster potato risotto covered in with clam bisque - delicious! And to top off a great meal we ordered the signature Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflé with raspberry sauce and vanilla ice cream ...SO GLAD WE DID!! It stayed warm all the way home!! The only thing that was slightly disappointing was the Waimea Bay Lemonade - strong on limonchello, too sour. We've never sent drinks back but we had to do it with this. Brandon did not make us feel bad about that and even took them off the bill. That to me is a sign of excellent customer service - we offered to pay for them and he said he did not want us unhappy with our experience. The restaurant exceeded all our expectations and we will recommend AND return at any opportunity. Thank you Roy's for making our trip to Jacksonville Beach so memorable.
