The decor, inside and out, is very casual and Florida-ish. Not upscale in appearance, but the waitress was very personable and knowledgeable. My husband ordered a Pittsburgh salad which had cooked to order steak on top and french fries on bottom. I know it sounds really weird, but it worked and he loved it!! I ordered a cup of bisque and thought it was very good. It was very rich, full of flavor and seafood. They didn't skimp. I ordered one of the specials - scallops. They were large, but a little under-cooked for my taste. The waitress noticed immediately and would not charge me for them. Additionally, the owner came right over and apologized. He explained that he likes to serve them "medium" and that they were very fresh and didn't want to overcook them. He could not have been any nicer. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience and would definitely return.
You can call ahead for priority seating and they will seat you at the next available table. That worked really well.
