We just had dinner at Spapper's in Jacksonville Beach last Sunday night. My boyfriend ordered grilled fish and I had a shrimp entree. Honestly, the food was good and also well presented. The problem we had was the band playing outside. There were only two people "enjoying" this band on their outside deck. The music was so loud we couldn't even communicate inside. I know there are also many different styles of music... Unfortunately, this band style was something like reggae mashed up with acid and it was definitely noise and not music.. My boyfriend complained to our server but the noise continued. We will not be going back to Snappers.

Service is slow, very unclean and became ill after eating.... should not have been surprised about the food poisoning based on appearances and management.

The service was good but the food was horrible. Overpriced and small portions. Smallest and worst tasting crab cake I have ever eaten. We just moved here and I will never go there again.

Went during a slow weeknight with a co-worker during the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament in March.
I had grilled grouper, he had something fried, both were good, as were the sides.
The service was fine also, the problem was the noise from the live band the handful of bar patrons was enjoying. The food was good, but we couldn't have a normal conversation. Still, it's worth it if you can handle the fact that this seems to be a live music bar first, a restaurant second.
