I stayed here for one night in January 2013 for business. It’s a neat hotel and walking in the front door it feels like the 1920s. I was there on a Monday, so the restaurant was closed. There is a large lobby on the first floor and a large sitting area on the second floor with couches and chairs. My room was fine—small and cozy. I suspect each room is individually furnished. My only real complaint is the lack of electrical outlets and the inability to get wifi in the room. I had to sit in the common area.

Good value considering it's the only hotel in the area.

Me, hubby & 2 kids stayed here for weekend & loved it. Everything is so clean & neat. Love the country atmosphere. Great prices for rooms. Our favorite was the breakfast brunch on Sunday morning. People from all around come to eat it. So I suggest reservations. Finger licking chicken, waffles, omelets, biscuits, fruits, bacon, mashed potatoes, salad bar you name it they got it. It was terrific. They even have a nice pool & garden area in back of hotel. We would love to stay again if we are ever on the area!!

We love to explore Florida and get close to nature any weekend we get the chance. What an incredible time we had this weekend staying at this charming 1920's bed & breakfast type inn (but not too small at 23 rooms). Light jazzy music playing all the time in the hotel sitting lobbies and halls. The innkeeper kept us fascinated for hours with stories of the inn and Indiantown during the evening wine and snack time. Interesting to find out about her Florida cracker family of cow hunters, Seminole Indians, and the family connection to the Duchess of Windsor at this inn. The first day we took our bikes with us and finally took that bike ride around part of Lake Okeechobee that is paved starting from the Okeechobee Waterway canal at the east side of the lake. The Okeechobee Waterway is a man-made waterway stretching from Fort Myers on the west coast to Stuart on the east coast of Florida that goes across Lake Okeechobee. It was built/finished in 1937 to provide a water route across Florida, allowing boats to pass east–west across the state rather than travelling the long route around the southern end of the state.
A lazy sunday morning topped off by a great Sunday brunch that draws folks from the towns around there. In the afternoon we went to the Florida Power Barley Barber Swamp tour that was nice. Free guided tour over a 1 mile boardwalk through their swamp. If you like to know the names of all the fauna, the knowledgeable guide can name them all.

What a GREAT weekend. Next visit there, biking and fishing.

If you're excited to stay at a lovely Inn that takes you to the 1920's, this is absolutely the place for you to come. This is a charming Inn with quite a history, but I'll leave that part to the people who run this quaint place. It's definitely a place to come to if you want to relax. You can swing in a hammock on the front porch or rock in the rocking chairs while locals say hi to you as they stroll by. Inside,

During the day, you can sit in the beautiful garden, BBQ or enjoy the crystal-clear pool.

When the sun goes down, you can play cards, chess, board games or the piano.

We met a couple there from the next town who we have become friends with.

This place is in the middle of nowhere. So it's definitely for a rest but is fun to engage in conversation with the other guests.

A definite recommend for a trip back in time.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room. They're much quieter and larger.

If your trip takes you down south of Ockeechobee or north west from West Palm Beach, Seminole Inn is the right place to stay and relax. Christine at the front desk and the Inn staff are very courteous and helpful. The rooms are spotless and very comfortable. You can enjoy the privacy and the relaxation.

My wife and I just spent Friday night at the Inn. Christine at the front desk was very helpful. The Inn is a nice country Inn . A walk back in time, with the beautiful antiques, and the mural on the second floor. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The bathroom in room 18 was poorly thought out with the toilet paper holder were your left knee needs to be when sitting and the door does not stay closed, and the exhaust fan is very noisy. We went to the cafe down the street, the food was cold, the service was terrible, and the lady who runs the place complained the whole time. After we received our food she never came back to our table to see if we needed anything else. She is the first server I ever had that cussed repeatedly. The last thing she made you feel is welcome. The Seminole Inn should stop recommending this place to there guest. I look forward to my next visit to the Inn.

We found the Inn to be comfortable, clean and quaint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
The Sunday buffet brunch was very good, with some of the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. The Inn also has a beautiful garden/pool area.

The reason I would suggest this be good, only for an overnight stay, is that the area is lacking restaurants, and anything else to do. The next "real" town, Stuart, is 20 miles away.
