many species of birds, you get to be up close with the birds, and you can't beat the cost... free... but be sure to donate as this is a working rehab facility for all different kinds of shore birds

Nice place to visit and take the family. This is a conservatory that accepts gawkiers. Bring the kids.

This place is absolutely amazing. You have never seen so many different types of birds in such a compact place. There is no set price of admission, they accept donations. It's a great place to volunteer too if you like helping birds and the environment. We visit this place several times every year. Nesting and mating season is raucous and entertaining. A great place to take the kids for an hour or two while at the beach.

This is a free attraction which relies on donations and volunteers. It treats and releases injured seabirds from the Florida coast, those that cannot be release are fed and cared for on their premises. You can enter directly from the beach or from the main road. Many of the captive birds will reproduce offspring which are released and frequent the property. Visitors get an up-close and personal interaction with the birds. Visitors share the walkways with the Pelicans. Many birds nest in the dense population of trees so you have to be aware of droppings falling from the above nests, I recommend either avoiding standing under trees or wear a hat. They treat 10,000 birds a year. The attached photo is of a Brown Pelican which decided to join us on our walk through the facility.
