Moved my daughter to Indian Rocks and i feel so appreciative for all that Bruce and Betty Anne did for us. The cottage was perfect and it came with a well equipped kitchen, close to everything and reasonably priced. But the effort that Bruce and Betty Anne made to help us was a blessing, they went out of their way, taking us to see a table at their church thrift store (which we purchased) Betty Anne drove us there in her car,to giving us paint, towels, and other materials for allison's apartment. They are two of the nicest people you could meet,i feel lucky to have met them and when we come to visit the first place that i will check for a room will be the"Seastar".Thanks again Bruce and Betty Anne and "God Bless"

This was my 4th year straight coming to the Sea Star. I live close by so can still go home to check on the pets. My daughter and I prefer Betty Anne and Bruce's place instead of all the condos here. They have the Florida laid back lifestyle that we are all searching for. A few steps to the beach or to wonderful seafood restaurants are what you will find in this great city. You can hop the Trolley and go see Winter the Dolphin or John's Pass to shop and get a Henna tattoo. This is definitely the place to spend a vacation! Great beach and the friendliest people are what you will find at the Sea Star.

We had a nice stay here. Bruce was very nice and helpful. We used the available beach chairs, umbrella, noodles and rode bikes to the Lighthouse doughnut shop ( a great find!). It was nice to have a fridge, microwave and sink in the room as well as the provided items such as paper towels, dish soap, napkins, etc.

We spent a week at the Sea Star and had a wonderful time. The Motel is old Florida style. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations this is not the place. But if you are looking for 5 star location, people, and experience then this is your place. Bruce and Betty Anne (owners) are fantastic people. They try to provide you with everything to make you feel at home. We grilled out, used the beach equipment provided, and ate the homemade cookies given to us upon arrival. There is no better bang for the buck anywhere in Florida only 50 yds from the sand. We will definitely be go back and will be telling all our friends to do the same.

We live in Tarpon Springs but this is where we go when we want to get away for a few days. This is the old Florida beach style vacation I remember when I was a kid (without the drive), where you go and check in and hit the beach right away. The motel is all on the ground floor so you meet all the guests and can talk, mingle and make friends. The innkeepers live on site and take pride in the place making sure everything is clean, quiet and well stocked. You can walk to several great restaurants or catch the beach trolley to go shopping or out partying. You can also just have a romantic evening on the beach or a quiet one in your room. Betty Ann and Bruce made sure we could experience all this and went out of their way to make us feel like family. It's our favorite place, we look forward to going every year.

Room Tip: Make sure to talk to the Innkeepers for a few minutes longer than just checking in. Have a blast!
