We were pleasantly surprised to discover that this unassuming small building is packed with charm, flavor and atmosphere. We checked the menu outside and decided to eat inside, even though there was plenty of seating outside. I ordered Tuna Avocado: two large scoops of tasty tuna salad nestled in a skinned avocado half on a bed of crisp lettuce and sliced tomatoes. The strawberry smoothie was refreshing and not too sweet. My husband ordered a Chicken Pesto Cuban sandwich: chicken breast with plenty of cheese, pesto and tomato served hot, with a side of half a skinned avocado and sweet tea. It's nice to see an alternative to the usual beach-meal sides of fries, cole slaw, and hush puppies. The total price for our two meals was under $24 (not counting the tip which we left in the jar on the counter). While we were eating, several families came in from the beach for ice cream.
