Since the closing of Shells Seafood we decided to give JDs a try based on the recommendation of my cousin. I was glad we did. Of our group of five, two had the 21 piece shimp dinner, one had the coconut shrimp dinner, one had the catfish dinner, and one had the steak/shrimp kabobs. All of us left very full and satisfied. Everything was delicious. The restaurant has a fun type beach front atmosphere. There's an outside piano bar deck you can see from inside and everyone was having a good time singing and dancing. You can even get there by boat and dock at their landing. We plan to give them another try when returning to the area next year.
