The interior and exterior both will take many of us back to our childhoods in the 60's when Florida restaurants had kitchy decor of sea creatures in fun colors, dark paneled interiors, cozy bars, sturdy and comfortable wooden chairs with spindle legs and backs.... oh, and quirky, punny sayings on signs hanging from the ceiling. The attract a lot of people here and can be crowded at dinner time. It's a really good place for good food (early bird specials are numerous if you're hungry early and can be anything from a shrimp dinner to roast beef for a bargain). Don't go if you need polished, refined, fancy. This is way more laid back than that. Servers are usually very good here. We often like to get some of their sandwiches to go (for a day on the beach, nice to grab a great lunch to take back to your place). For this, we recommend their grilled chicken sandwich and their burger; both delicious!! For dinner, we keep trying things on the menu and have not been disappointed. We hope you enjoy it as much, as well.
