First of all I am a local in Pinellas County and find that 90% of the restaurants are not worth visiting. This county is typically franchise chains that cater to tourists. My wife and I went out on our anniversary to Guppys. We have not been there for over 20 years. We were pleasantly surprised how new and clean the place looked. There is a very appealing outside eating area and the inside is even better. We both had very good fish dinners and a octopus appetizer. The octopus was very good with the tomato sauce and fetta. Excellent bread with spiced olive oil. The server (Berni) was very attentive and excellent service. This is the best place on IRB, and we have been to all of them. We will definitely return to this gem. A must visit place.
