“Very relaxing week!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 24, 2014

We just finished our exchange week at Oceanique. We had a very nice time. It was still slow season (before Memorial Day) so the resort was only half full .Quiet resort. Many days we felt like we had our own personal resort. The Pool area is very nice and kept spotless. They provide beach chairs and beach towels. WiFiis very good. No extra charges for anything! The condo was very spacious. It was well maintained and everything was in working order. They will need to start replacing some things a bit at a time or the owners are going to face huge renovation costs. Mauve carpets need replacing, bath vanities are in poor shape, couch and chairs showing age etc .Beds were comfortable. What is the best part? The view! We were in unit 323. Beautiful view and we enjoyed mornings and evenings on our balcony watching the see birds and dolphins. We will most likely return in the future!

This small oceanfront resort (24) 2 bedroom, 2 bath units, has few amenities but a great (warm) swimming pool and beautiful grounds. However, all amenities are in the neighborhood within a ten minute walk. We stayed for 2 weeks in January which were mostly cool. We were in the north wing facing the sunrise and with the balcony in the sun until early afternoon. This was our third stay at this resort and we plan to return next year.
A beach restoration project in front of the resort was just completed, restoring the dune damaged by Hurricane Sandy and extending the sandy beach further out to the sea. It remains to be seen how the tides and the weather will reconfigure the beach.

We come here every year, it is a home from home, no pressure to do anything, but with the added advantage of lots of things to do nearby. OK, I like a beer or two, with Coasters just over the road, 2 other pubs close by and 3 breweries. This resort is quiet and Patricia, Janet and Rita will look after you. We are lucky and meet up with the same people from across the States each year (we're Brits). Views, rooms and pool area are perfect and the beach is something else, with the added bonus of watching turtles (if you are lucky enough). Can't wait to get back. what more can I say.

We stayed at Oceanique for a week in late August. There are so many great things about this resort. All 24 units are ocean front. The atmosphere is very peaceful and quiet. You can ALWAYS get a chair at the pool, and the beach itself was never crowded. Some people complain about all the shells on the beach, but to us this was a plus. The ONLY negative is that there are two sharp metal poles just to the right of the property that are visible when the tide goes out. The city sure needs to remove these if they are still there. The units are large and nicely furnished, with everything you need. Patricia is a great activities director, and really makes you feel welcome. You have opportunities to talk about ownership, but there is no pressure at all. Parking under the buildings provides shelter on a rainy day. We also enjoyed Wild Tours on the Banana River, with Captain Jeanette, seeing dolphins and manatees. The best restaurants were at Port Canaveral, particularly Fish Lips and Rusty's. Oceanique is a place you could enjoy coming to year after year! We can't wait to come back.

Room Tip: Get a 3rd or 4th floor room for the best view.

We have been going to Oceanique Resort since the mid-200's and go there every year. There are only 24 rooms and every room has an ocean view (and I don't mean leaning over the railing and turning your head 180 degrees). There is so much to do in the area - we have kayaked in the Indian River, traveled in an airboat on the St. John's River and spent an awesome day on the Indian River getting a close up and personal view of dolphins, sting rays, manatees and many species of birds. AND the restaurants are great .... Much to do for everyone. This is not a party resort, but a great resort for all the swimming and pool time you want, reading, and just mixing it up. We always hate to leave, but love coming back ....

Room Tip: Every room is a good room. All have great views of the ocean, beach and pool.

We rented a two bedroom condo at Oceanique the week of the 4th of July. Overall, it is such a great little resort! It is a small, quiet resort, so if you are looking for a party place, this is absolutely not the place for you.

They have everything you could possibly need for a week's time at the beach. The pool is nice and there are plenty of loungers - you do not have to get up at the crack of dawn and go down to the pool and put a towel and beach bag on a chair to reserve it, like you do at so many beachside resorts. They even have some beach umbrellas and beach chairs that you can use, but they are not always available. So, if you must have those items, take you own or purchase them at the near-by Publix, Winn Dixie or WalMart.

There is a washer and dryer in the condo (we were in #412) that really helps keep the sand away - you can wash the beach towels after each use, if you want. You do need to bring (or buy) your own laundry soap. The condo provides beach towels and you can get more from the front desk, if you need. The kitchen is great - we cooked several breakfasts and a couple of dinners and had everything we needed. We kept tea, sodas and water in the full-size refrigerator. You do need to bring (or buy) your own toiletries - they have small soap bars, but no shampoo, conditioner, lotion, etc.

Even though our condo was on the lowest floor, we still spent a lot of time on our deck, enjoying the pool and ocean view. This place is an ideal location - close to drive to all kinds of fun stuff, when you have been on the beach long enough! We drove from Port Canaveral (for lunch one day) to Sebastian for dinner and fireworks on the evening of the 4th and it was never "too far".

The master bathroom is very nice with the Roman tub many have spoken about, but we never had time to use it. The tub has no jets, so it would probably be a little difficult to make a sudsy bubble bath. The shower is large - large enough for two. Beds are comfy, but the pillows leave a lot to be desired - bring your own! There was plenty of storage space for the week. As others have said, the decor is a bit dated, but everything is very, very clean. We had plenty of space for the four of us and did not feel cramped at all.

Our two adult daughters were in the second bedroom - which was right by the elevator and they said there was some noise from others during the late evening/night, but it wasn't enough to spoil our week of fun. On a couple of nights, our adult son stayed in the condo too. (Other nights he stayed with family we have in the area.) He said the pull-out sofa bed was so uncomfortable, he just slept on the sofa and was fine.

There is a very energetic social director for this resort. We attended the Sunday information session and they do not try to sell you a timeshare. She really is excited about all the get-togethers for all of the guests that she has planned throughout the week. We were too busy with friends and family in the area to join in many of the activities, but we did go to the evening magic show at their sister resort, Las Olas, just up the road a little. It was very much worth the $5 per person price. A lot of fun.

Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat! It's a great little place. Small, quiet, the pool and beach are not too crowded and it's in a great location to get to so much on the Space Coast. It's just a nice little beach resort.
