“New Management !”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

Hopefully this new manager will get this place back on track for good this time! It has really been cleaned up since my last visit. Eric (new management) came over to our table to check on us several times and he genuinely cares about this place. We had dinner on a Sunday afternoon and the place was jumping and they had live music. The seafood was amazing and priced well for all the crab, shrimp, mussels and clams on our platter. My Mom had the chicken dish which she thoroughly enjoyed. The place is kid friendly and nice outdoor seating. Great place for locals and visitors. The Oysters are fabulous!. I look forward to going back soon.

Thank you so much for your response!! I (Eric:) took over the restaurant in late September and have been really trying to make everyone that walks in the door wanting to come back soon. We want everyone to enjoy their stay while tasting our cuisine, trying our refreshing beverages and listening to all styles of music. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to you coming back. Thank you for the feedback. It helps me to understand how we are doing to improve our restaurant or to continue what we are doing! See you soon!!!

“Great atmosphere”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

They had a great two man band and the outdoor area and bar are great. The food was so, so---everything was cooked in oven cookers, didn't seem really fresh.
Great for the music and drinks!

“A great place to spend a couple of hours.”
Reviewed May 2, 2013

We have stopped at what We lovingly call Ollie Oysters which is now called Pirates Cove in Hudson, Florida. We have stopped a couple of times, the second time we stopped we took our friends from Wisconsin down there. Everyone had a good time and the food was excellent. It did take some time, as they were behing shucking oysters, but we all had them and they were awesome. The beer was cold and the view was great. We had a very relaxing time. My friend even found a pearl in one of her oysters. We would visit again.

Visiting friends in Hudson and stopped in for a casual dinner, and some local music. We were not disappointed. Music was great. Funky little place with local seafood, and lots of people watching. My husband and other male companion had oysters, and enjoyed them. Wrap for female friend and crab legs for me. Both thought it was okay. May not be the best food, but still a fun place to stop in and enjoy the local scene.

“Never got food”
Reviewed March 31, 2013

Now called pirates cove. The change of management wasn't a good thing. After 1.5 hours, they told us they didn't start cooking our food yet. No chicken or beef. This place is going out of business fast. Will not return. Bad experience.
