Our two-day golf get-away was "wonderful. Our rooms were clean and very nice! The restaurant
and service was very good...
Fatima at the front desk was very nice, friendly and "perfect" for the job. We enjoyed the golf.
We will be back!

I've been to Mission a few times for meetings and events, but this was my husband and I's first time staying there. It was a rainy weekend, so we didn't get to partake in all the activities available, but everything we did partake in was a great experience. The staff was friendly at check in, the rooms were clean and spacious, and the beds were really comfortable! We had a great view of the golf course. We went to the all you can eat buffet at Nicker's. My favorite was the crab legs dipped in butter. Just delicious! They also have billiards which was so much fun! We ended up going to Yalaha bakery in the morning for breakfast, but next time I'll be trying their Sunday brunch that I hear is amazing as well. Thank you to all the Mission Inn staff for such a great experience!

Being conveniently located in Central Florida, Mission Inn has hosted a number of meetings that I've attended over the years. I don't golf - although other participants do - and that's an attraction for many visitors. But I just look at the accommodations. The venue is conducive to a quiet business meeting or retreat - not many distractions. The hotel has obviously been maintained over the years as it doesn't really show its age.

I usually request the "San Diego" hotel as that's the newer portion of the property. The rooms are very spacious and furnishings comfortable. There is plenty of counter space - in the main room and in the bathroom - both much appreciated. The only 'ding' I would give them is that the air conditioner never quite caught up to cool the room. It may be underpowered for the large room, but that detracted from getting a comfortable night's sleep.

Room Tip: If you'd like a view, ask for a room overlooking the golf course. Otherwise you'll have a l...

I have been to many resorts both for work and on vacation, and have stayed at the Ritz Carlton and Four Seasons many times. I have to say that the Mission Inn was wonderful. We ate in 3 of the restaurants and every meal was great as was the service. We had gone to the Inn at the suggestion of my sister in law who had also never been there. We were attending a family function in Mount Dora. Well the Inn was a great place to stay we didn't need to leave the resort for anything. Beautiful and well kept grounds, immaculate everywhere. My husband played golf with his Dad and brother, they said the course was outstanding and this is from my husband who has played some of the top rated courses in the states and the islands. Overall, we were sorry we didn't book for a week as we were only there 2 nights and 3 days. Even the waitress on Sunday night was terrific. The restaurant lost power they were very accommodating, and we were the only ones there, we never felt rushed, she was so pleasant and I am sure she wanted to go home. Even the maids were so friendly, rooms are so clean and tidy, nicely appointed. Great stay thank you.

Room Tip: If you like to stay outside do not stay on ground floor. Too many golfers at your window teeing off.

The trip was, in a word.. Fantastic.

Arrived early Friday morning and the early check-in wasn’t a problem at all.
Nothing was too much trouble and everyone from the check-in, to pro shop, to cart people were as accommodating as we have ever seen.
The customer service was 2nd to none.
10/10 to all involved.

Our rooms in the San Diego block overlooked the El Campeon course and blew us all away from the start.
Everyone in the group was really pleased with that.
The rooms were a good size, clean, with iron, coffee maker and flat screen tv.
The only thing missing was a fridge.

We played the Las Colinas course on the Friday at noon and with very few people on the course it was a pleasant surprise not to be rushed.
The course had some great holes, some open, some tricky but it was a great mix to test even the best golfer.
I liked the fact that there were not many homes on it, so you felt like it was just you and the course.

It was also in great condition, although the greens were a little slow…(and none of us figured out the pace of the greens all day!! hahaha)

In the evening we relaxed around the pool area which was great and probably consumed one too many beverages!!
The pool area had a Tiki bar, (which wasn't open) a hot tub, pool table, BBQ grill and towels were available poolside.

The breakfast was very nice, with multiple choices of fruit, cereals, bacon, sausage and a dedicated chef to make pancakes, omelets and waffles which again was a great touch.

The El Campeon course was definitely the best course of the 2.
The course is very undulated and had some very tough holes on it.
The greens were great considering they had been previously aerofied and by end of the round everybody was commenting on what a fantastic place it was and what a fantastic deal we had.

We did not use the Spa or tennis facilities so cannot comment on that.

We booked this golf trip through a company called 'WaggleTravel' http://www.waggletravel.com/cms/ and would recommend you contact Mike Kilgore as he will certainly look after you.

In short... If you are after a great golfing experience, book this resort now.

I went on a little tennis retreat here and had a great time. Cesar and his tennis pros provided the best tennis coaching I have ever had and I have had a lot of tennis coaching over the last 40 years. They really give individual attention and do so in a positive, constructive way.
In addition, I found the grounds of the resort beautiful and very well maintained.
The staff has a great service orientation, they provided fresh fruit at breakfast and the room was spacious and clean.
Most people come here for the beautiful golf courses, but I can assure you that you will not go wrong coming here for tennis.

I stay here 1-2x/month for business. The staff is extremely professional and caters to your needs. There are plenty of places to visit inside the resort to keep you busy including golf, tennis, lounges, pool, spa, gym, restaurants. Plan to come back to family.
