Description: Restaurant/Bar in an old seafood freezer on the water where boats bring in their fresh catch. Amazing shrimp, fish dip and stone crabs. A lot of local controversy around restaraunt so it is becoming very popular.

This is an absolutely no frills local yokel place. It was the original fish freezer for the fishermen. Once you walk up the ramp and take a left you walk through those long plastic strips used in freezers to keep the cold in. Once you enter, walk around to the back side of the bar. You have to place your order at the bar, then tell them where you will be sitting so they can bring your food to you. The steamed shrimp is seasoned and steamed perfectly with Old Bay. You get a lot of shrimp for the price. Wed. evening is steak night. Tim is out front cooking some of the meanest steaks you'll ever eat, along with corn on the cob and a baked potato. The staff, especially behind the bar are so busy, working hard and fast. Don't be insulted if they are all business. Folks, if you're going some place new and you are not familiar with it or how crowded it gets at peak times, try if at all possible to visit a new place at off times. This place gets so busy the line to the bar to place your order can get pretty long. This is one of those places you do NOT want to go to at peak times, especially during winter months when the snow birds are there. If the weather is cool they will lower the clear plastic sheets that are normally rolled up to cover the open seating area. The cigarette smoke can become unbearable so we always sat outside at the picnic tables.

We had heard about this out of the way spot, so decided to take a quick trip up to the area. We got there on Sunday, about noon. They were packed. Stood at the bar to order a couple beers. Met a couple locals that were super nice. They recommended we order the steamed shrimp and wings. So we did. Both were great. The shrimp was beyond great. With zero advertising, and a packed place, there is no doubt they are doing it right.

We heard incredible things about this place, so we had to go. The steamed mussels were fine, but nothing special. The shrimp was very very good. The smoked mullet dip was just average. The tiki bar is a scenic spot, but they don't serve hard liquor; just beer and wine. A good's spot to stop if you are in the area but not worth a detour.

This place is well off the beaten path, located in an old fish freezer, very limited menu and only for fish and shrimp lovers really, but Omg the steamed shrimp is to die for, comes right off the boat to your plate. If you love fresh shrimp this is the place to sit outside watch the water, drink cold beers& enjoy good food
