An extensive menu of cajun items, along with "regular" preparations. "Blackened" was too excessive, but everything else quite good. Very friendly and attentive service - close to closing time. Will see repeat visits!

Neon Leon's makes the most flavorful, best seasoned steaks in the county, better than Cody's or Outback. They also have great fried green tomatoes. My favorite local restaurant.

We ate here three times during our recent holiday in Florida, twice in the evening and once at lunchtime. The food was always very good, and the service, atmosphere and music first class.

We won't be back in Florida for a couple of years, but when we return, Neon Leon's will be a must.

Stopped by for a late lunch and sat outside on a charming porch in the woods. Our dog was welcome on the patio which we always appreciate.
This is a funky little spot amid live oaks dripping with grey moss, opened by Lynyrd Skynyrd's bassist and family. The food is southern Cajun and mixed. Perfect spicy jambalaya teeming with seafood and sausage is accompanied by warm, authentic corn filled cornbread. The oysters, although small and heavily fried, were tasty. The French fries were perfect. But the large, moist crab cakes had way too much breading and were bland.
Our attentive, friendly waitress was responsive and generous on the drink refills. We would return in a heartbeat and sample the étouffée and gumbo. It's nearby a fascinating sugar mill ruin.
