We always have to stop into "eat here" when we're visiting AMI. We are annual patrons of Sean Murphy's Beach Bistro, eat here (Sarasota) and eat here on Anna Maria. This time, we used Open Table to make our reservations and requested a booth. Upon arriving at 7PM, a waitress greeted us with clip boad menus. She began to sit us at a table next to the entry way, very close to a family with a crying child. I told her we had request a booth via OT which she confirmed. The problem was, no booths were reserved, nor a table for two in a better place other then by the front door. So not to ruin the evening, I requested to be seated at the common table where were attended by a terrific waiter. Now we were happy again.
Started with French Onion soup that really has a great kick and a small monkey bowl of smoked fish dip, topped with black caviar. The flavorful garlic toasted baggetts accompanied both the soup and dip. Both our entrees were Fish Tacos with a tropical salsa. Again, eat here scores with high marks in the kitchen, but a table by the front door, you can keep. Yes, we will be back next year. JR from Sebring
