I had a couple of friends come into town and we headed over to the beach and then stopped by the cafe for a little lunch. They were very accommodating w/ our group and made sure we had the best table possible. The food was great as were the drinks. Nice breeze was blowing and the staff was very friendly and made us feel like we were family. I hear they have an amazing breakfast menu that includes all you can eat pancakes. THUMBS UP!!!

We had friends tell us about the breakfast here. The setting is great, on the beach. I ordered the pancake and sausage special and my wife got the French toast with strawberries. The pancakes where good but the sausage very rubbery andy tasteless . Her French toast was soggy in the syrup and the strawberries were right out of a container that made them kind of a mush. Be sure to ask for silverware at the window, and it's a bus your own at the end. The "tip jar" at the ordering window seemed out of place given the above.

Order at the window, they will bring to your table. Typical beach goers fare, but watch for the daily specials- yum. Food quality is good and variety is very good. Can't beat the location and view. Try the all you can eat pancakes- let me know how they were. We didn't get there for breakfast.

Visited on Aug. 11 (Saturday) after a day of class. Loved the sunset, hated the margarita...the lemonade had more of a tang to it than the margarita--not sure if it even had alcohol. The food was good for a beachy place (had a mixed platter so we could taste a little of everything) and the entertainment (singer) was really good. Big complaint was how early it closes on a Saturday night...sun down it shuts down. Didn't even get to visit the little store even though the door was open, when you walked in some lady yelled "Were closed". I expected this to be a friendly place but not really. The ice cream was a good ending...we walked in right as sun going down and they closed right after us even. You leave tips in a jar at the window even though we were with a big group and had our own waiter. Reading all the other reviews, made me wish I had eaten breakfast there but couldn't due to class starting. The Beach House down the street was a lot better in our opinion but more pricey...at least they stayed open past sundown and the drinks were good!
