We stayed for two days on this resort. Rooms are very spacious and balcony view is amazing. Drinks were delicious and strong. In our opinion, the only thing missing in the hotel is nightlife activities. There is not much to do at night unless you drive to Hollywood downtown. Check in/check out was very quick. I also went to their spa which I thought it was little small for this type of resort. Definitely a place to stay for a short weekend get away.

How do I tell you about Maria? Let me begin by saying she was raised right, she is a good caring kind person, and was there to listen to all I had to say! My husband had surgery back on May 17th and had complications and we had to reschedule our trip to come to Hollywood. We finally arrived June 12th and stayed till the 17th. Maria checked us in by having our room ready right away, she informed of us about everything that was on the property, offered up assistance to whatever our needs were, and just took her time checking us in. She is a great asset to the hotel. If you have a chance to meet her say hello from Donna in CT. Our overall experience was great, some days the toiletries were not replenished, the parking at 35 dollars a day is crazy, but we understood with parking being at a premium in south Florida. However, 35 dollars a day is outrageous! The property was immaculate, and the staff all were friendly. We will go back to stay again.

Room Tip: Top floor which is the 18th quiet and a huge wrap around deck. The actual room is a junior suite room 1817.

The hotel is magnificent, clean. We had a 'basic' intercoastal room'. The design of the room was very nice and felt very roomy. The décor is very relaxing, beachy. Even the upholstered chairs were swivel/rockers. We checked in on Tuesday and out on Saturday.
Housekeeping was a challenge; they never left adequate towels, only left the complimentary water bottles on the first day. The resort fee includes 2 water bottles daily.
Pool security was a joke, until Friday, after lodging a few complaints, they staffed hotel employees near the gate entries to the pool. Guests are required to wear a colored bracelet...and during the day, non-guests just stand at the gate and walk in behind guests, and spend the day at the pool, with no one asking them to go get a bracelet, or their room #, etc. The non-guests just walk over to an empty chair, pick up a Margaritaville towel, and they're set for the day! The beach, was very nice, the resort fee included 2 chairs/umbrella.
We used the valet parking, it was very easy to in/out, just call down ahead and ask them to pull up the car.
I can't say enough about the ambiance of the hotel....it really did feel like a Caribbean resort.
BEWARE: check your credit card bill!! Upon checkout, there was a meal charged to our room and then to our card, that was a 'mistake', belonged to another room. The resort fee was charged to our card, mistake, that was include with our prepaid American Airlines Air/Hotel package. Had to produce the AA documents to show the desk, the 'print' from AA documentation, that resort fee was included. They credited my card, and gave me a room check out receipt, showing -0- charged to my card.
Today, I received my credit card bill, not only did they reinstate the resort fee charge, but they charged $636 for the room charge, which American Airlines paid for in our Vacation Package. Once we contacted them, they sent us a document showing our card has been credited. There seems to be a problem with their bookkeeping systems. Had I not scrutinized our credit card statement, we would have paid 2x for our hotel room and resort fees; once to AA Vacations and once in these erroneous charges added after we left the hotel. Their email note said 'sorry for any confusion'?

Sherry was great with the facial. Explained every step. The green tea and lemongrass lotion incredible. The spa was relaxing and very clean. Young lady at the desk was also kind enough to order us a glass of wine. Best kept secret in Hollywood. We will be back
