Hubby and I were visiting Hollywood Florida and asked a few people if they could recommend a nice place for dinner overlooking the intracoastal waterway and instantly GG's Waterfront was the one most mentioned. They all got it right. There is outdoor seating and indoor seating all looking onto the intracoastal. As the sun goes down there are see through blinds to cut out some of the glare and yet still allow for watching the beautiful boats going by.
There is valet parking and staff that are prompt and on the ball. If you are seated inside there is a view of the kitchen staff hard at work in an impeccable copper decorated kitchen. The wine list has some very good choices on it and priced to suit most pockets. The menu has all the usual steaks, fish and chicken plates and attractive appetizers and sides.
We chose to share the Burrata salad and the fresh mozzarella was delicious. For my entree I had the Mahi Mahi and asked to have it blackened. It was only necessary to eat it with a fork as it was beautifully flaky and moist. The sweet chilli sauce complimented it and the Asian slaw had a nice spicy kick to it. Hubby had the bone in ribeye with seasonal vegetables and said everything was delicious. For a nice ending we shared the tiramisu and it was outstanding. This is a place well worth visiting.
