Open Plaza is a restaurant but it's also a great place to hang. Imagine hanging out in your cool aunts family room. You are surrounded by books art and even vintage clothes that arefor sale. There are a few tables but the decor and feel is living room friendly with lots of comfy chairs and quiet corners where you can have a conversation. You come off Hollywood Blvd and can't help feeling comfortable. You can grab a handful empanadas and a couple of glasses of nice Argentine wine for $18 bucks or have a full meal. Relax and enjoy some music. You are never rushed as is the Argentine tradition. I actually hesitate to post this review because I'm tempted to keep Open Plaza to myself. If you are in Downtown Hollywood Open Plaza not only a good destination but a great detour for a snack before you hit the town or a few quite moments when you just aren't quite ready to call it a night. Open Plaza is different and well worth a try.
