My girlfriend and I previously had drinks at the bar and perused the menu. Having liked the offerings and seeing positive reviews on the internet, we decided it was time to give this place a try. We sat at the bar on a very uncrowded Saturday night. It's a pretty restaurant, a cool, upscale decor I would imagine one might find on South Beach. We had a flatbread appetizer which was delicious, a classic combination of smoked salmon, cream cheese, onions and capers. Service was attentive and friendly, though we waited long enough for our entrees that we were offered drinks on the house. My rack of lamb was tender, delicious and cooked perfectly med-rare as ordered, though I had just four ribs (about a half a rack?). Served with OK polenta and some spinach and a few asparagus spears. My girlfriend had the Chile seared shrimp and was immediately put off by the presentation of the head on shrimp skewered and served on the same polenta. She was also disappointed in the dish, the shrimp being over cooked, a bit dry, and again, had just four small shrimp on her plate. We had the brownie/vanilla ice cream thing for dessert, served in that trendy way with a small amount of ice cream served on the side. It which was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. Given the price of our meal, we expected more.
