Hotel room was beautiful. They upgraded us to a suite overlooking the pool. It was a great room, and much appreciated upgrade. Everything in the room was top notch. The pool area was amazing, better than the pictures look. We loved the water slide. I am pregnant and read a lot of reveiws about how smoky it is. The smoke was bad in the casino, but not an issue elsewhere. We did not gamble as we do not like slots. They were opening a non-smoking section the day we left. We enjoyed the walking around the shops, and the evening entertainment (comedy club). Overall I would stay at this hotel if I was looking to party and not drive. There are a bunch of night clubs and bars that fill up late in the evening. For a relaxing time in Flordia I really wanted the beach and would pick somewhere else on the beach. This is a good hotel if you are looking to drink and hang out at the pool. This is not a hotel for families.

Stayed here for one night on the way back from Key West. The hotel and pool area are beautiful. The rooms were the nicest I have ever stayed in. This hotel is not located near the beach. It is by the highway which I knew when we booked it.
I did not care for the casino.Only 2 player club desks with very long lines at both.No free drinks while gambling either.I would not go back just to gamble but just to lay around that pool all day would be fine with me!

We decided to come and stay at this hotel with a high recommendation from a friend. It was really nice- almost weird the way the hotel just appears out of the middle of nowhere (nothing else seems nearby). Nice, clean rooms, good service, everything you would expect. I loved the pool. Our last evening, I took my wife to a restaurant called Tatu. Really nice. After, we walked around the shops & bars and were in for a treat- as there was a "Ronin Taiko" Japanese drum show outside. It was amazing! There was also an amazing (and gorgeous) bellydancer that moved like she had no spine- then she ate FIRE! At the end both the drummers and the dancer spun fire with swords. Gotta tell ya- you don't need to go to Cirque du Soleil - go to Hard Rock! My wife & I agreed that it was the perfect ending to a perfect stay.

This is a great hotel with a casino and a variety of shops and restaurants. We stayed in a deluxe room for $259 with a balcony and a beautiful bathroom with a garden tub and a 2-person shower. Candy and a turn-down service were nice extras. The pool area is lavish and unique. Security was still tight in the aftermath of the publicity this hotel received regarding Anna Nicole Smith.

We stayed one night on April 3, 2007 and everything was great. The process of reserving was easy and the check in took all of a minute. Actually a bit longer because the helpful friendly clerk had to tell me where to park and how to find my room. Staff were efficient and always friendly. Room was great. Had a great time and lost some money. Oh well, I will try to get it back next trip

We had the chance to stay at this hotel for 2 nights. We thought it was great. The rooms and beds were very comfortable and modern. The hotel itself is huge w/ tons of stuff to do, from gambing to bars/restaurants, awesome pool - but get up EARLY if you want a chair - live entertainment, etc etc. I would definitely stay again. One thing though, bring LOTS of money as everything is very pricey, from food to drinks to gambling. :)

We booked ahead (the hotel website struggled with A UK credit card- you have to place an international call) and got a room for under £100. On arrival, we were upgraded to a three room suite ( 2 TV's, sound system, balcony, jacuzzi, shower room etc). We spent the night in Fort lauderdale (The Jungle Queen Cruise!) and the next day shopping at Sawgrass Mills. This was a great alternative to the band offerings of Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton etc.

The ground floor casino is bewildering and attracts lots of odd people by night, plus the Senior Citizens of Florida by day! Outside is a variety of bars, live music venues and shops. Seems like there is a always a party. (even week nights).

it was a shame we couldn't spend longer to discover the pool and some of the big acts that play at the Arena.
