We took another reviewer's tip and got a coupon from restaurant. Com. This place is easy to get to on the trolley. The restaurant is comfortable, and our server was very personable, knowledgeable, and attentive. The wines are very reasonably priced, and I was offered a tasting of a wine I was considering but was unfamiliar with--nice touch! The goat cheese salad is absolutely beautiful and big enough to share. The french onion soup is tasty. I got a seafood trio special, which was all well prepared. My husband thought his filet was great, and the chocolate mousse is quite yummy. They offer several different chef's taste dinner combos, which seemed like a great way to browse the menu, but I decided it would be too much food for me. My only criticisms are:
The silverware feels light and cheap in your hand. I know this is petty, but I hate eating at a nice place with service ware that feels like a cafeteria.
The speed of service--they were actually too efficient. They need to spread out serving the courses a bit so you don't feel rushed.
All in all, definitely one of our better dining experiences in this town, and I felt it was well worth the money, even without a coupon.
