I think that's what really got to me - you order a portion of humus - how on earth are you supposed to eat it? There should be an accompanying portion of bread or pita - but not here -you have to PAY $1.25 per pita so that you can eat the humus you ordered! We eat out at Greek and Mediterranean restaurants all the time and we've never actually had to pay for a portion of bread or pita, just so we can eat the humus. The humus will come with something - and even at certain restaurants, they'll give you a portion of humus and some pita just to start your meal. Or at least bring you some bread and olive oil or something - but not here. You get nothing. Not even pita WITH your humus. So that is a major flaw. The service was pretty dreadful - we were there early on a Saturday night, it wasn't really busy - but it took AGES to place our order - my husband had ordered a beer and it was brought in the bottle, so he asked for a glass - it took 15 minutes for the waitress to bring the glass - by then he'd poured the water out of his water glass and was using that. The food also took ages to arrive. The Greek salad was huge and fresh - the calamari was delicious but you just touched it with a fork and the batter fell off - so what we ate was pure calamari, and what was left was ALL the batter, crumbled on the plate. You could NOT get a piece of calamari WITH batter on your fork - go figure. Having said that, the calamari was tender and delicious, but just a shame we couldn't eat it in the batter. The humus was OK - pretty garlicky but definitely home made but can't rate it more than average. Still, shame on them that we had to pay for the pita (if not, we'd have had to eat it with our knife and fork I guess) for the humus. Tzatziki was good - but service was just so slow. This was definitely not a $50 meal, so the most we could give it would be a 5 out of 10. Will we go back? Nope. Would we recommend it? No again.
