We stopped by this place on our way to the airport after a great cruise and a great stay at the beach. The casino was large and loads of slots to play from 1 cent to $100. Of course we made a deposit before leaving but that was mostly by choice, as we were ahead for most of the time we spent there. If you are in the neighborhood I recommend this place for some quick enjoyable entertainment.

This is so much more than a casino! There are restaurants and bars and shopping and rock and roll memorabilia everywhere! This place is so well maintained, it is immaculate! It's gets better every time we come here!

I stopped in at the Hard Rock on a recent trip to Miami. The drive is a bit of a bother, but it looks as if the Hard Rock is the only "real" casino deal in town, so I made the trip anyway.
The Casino is nice and glitzy like a casino should be, but they want me to pay for Valet parking? Really? Big red flag.
I played some Blackjack for about an hour at a pretty good average, and then asked about a dinner comp. Supervisor was enthusiastic, but then discovered I had only joined their player club that day, and that they never comp anything to players the day they join. Really? Another big red flag. Reminds me of my local government run casino where they don't have to give anything away because they are the only game in town. And even they don't charge for Valet parking!
The tables are good, but the limitation to card games, and thus the exclusion of craps, is a bit disappointing. Maybe they could look at the diceless craps they have in Palm Springs, using the shuffle masters? Anyway, still a perfectly good casino if you can get by playing blackjack and live-deal poker.
If you are in Miami and are absolutely jonesing for some action, this place will do, but just keep your expectations in check!

The only minus for this property is the fact that the casino is a smoking facility and no amount of ventilation can overcome the ashtray effect. Great memorabilia and decor in the interior of the building-one of the best Hard Rocks we have been to in that respect, great room furnishings with quality bath products and linens. Very helpful and accommodating hotel staff. The pool sells the property with above average bar service and plenty of chairs available to soak up the sun. Numerous places to eat on property and prices are mostly reasonable. We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe and the 24 hour cafe in the casino area with good food and service. The Italian place on the board walk was pretensions but had good food at a premium price. I would recommend this property if you're a gambler and sun worshiper.
