“Great Location, Great food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2014

Went for a friends birthday, The Crab soup is a Must have! Everything very fresh and good. The Cole slaw is tasty and above average. Get there early as seating is limited.

“Health Reports Public in Florida”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

Just a quick response to the review a couple below, in the state of Florida the health reports for restaurants are PUBLIC record. Please go check it out yourself if you'd like. There has NEVER been any kind of critical hit on Miss Vicki's at all. And although it has been said, Basa is sold in every grocery store, most restaurants (whether they admit it or not).

“Miss Vicki's Rocks!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

In response to the other review regarding health reports---Miss Vicki's has NEVER had a a health violation and the kitchen is probably cleaner than most home kitchens!! Most restaurants serve some type of farm raised fish and guess what? it is usally basa or swai, they just arent telling you! At least Vicki's doesnt try to disguise it as something else---one local restaurant even calls their fish sandwich "BASA" on the menu. If you don't like it don't eat it, you can order a hamburger instead--that will kill you even quicker!!
If you are going to complain at least be honest and don't make up lies to try and put a GREAT little restaurant down.

“If you like seafood and want to be poisoned eat here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2014

Despite being on a river that is wall to wall seafood fisherman providing the best grouper and fresh shrimp obtainable, this hag ) miss Vickie) still sells a fish known as "Basa"..

If you do a simple Google search, or follow any nutritionist, they'll tell you that "Basa" can provide you with a life altering bacterial infection of your entire intestinal system. It can kill you! Why does she do this to unsuspecting customers who think they're getting a fish dinner safe enough to eat? It's called greed! Up yours Miss Vickie for selling something you know to be dangerous. In addition, continuing Pinellas County health Department inspection reports show the same health code violation over and over again, and that is raw meat stored over ready to eat food, namely vegetables and salad fixings with raw chicken or other things left to drip down on the ready to eat foods... Happy diarrhea Campers!

“Hard to find a seat, but worth the wait!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2014

Some days it seems impossible to find an open seat, but Mrs. Vicki's is worth the wait. The atmosphere is as good as the food! From the boiled peanuts to the "shrimp-po-boy" sandwich the menu is great "Old FL cuisine." I love their crabcakes & peel-and-eat shrimp! My husband loves the burgers. Great place to eat on a nice sunny day!
