Evidently this the place the ladies go to. There were about 15 people there and I was the only guy. The food was very good. Decent beer selection featuring a couple of local brews. The smoked fish dip was great! We both had the crab cakes. Both were quite yummy. Ended up here by mistake. We were searching for a different place but our GPS unit took it there. I love that GPS unit :-) It can mess up like that all the time!

The taste is my favorite spot in the Hobe Sound area. Fresh, flavorful food, great selection, good value. The taste has good taste!

A nice place for dinner... bang,bang shrimp were amazing, crab cakes were excellent! Simple menus with a range of choices. Small, casual, comfortable restaurant with wonderful service.

We visit the Stuart area 3 or 4 times a year and thought we'd start trying some different spots for dinner. Hobe Sound has some fantast restaurants, but Taste is right up there in top place.
The casual restaurant was very inviting and our waitress was friendly, helpful, and very attentive.

We all had something different, flounder piccata, lobster rolls, and chicken with goat cheese. Each meal was prepared beautifully. We even tried one of their house made desserts, tiramisu - it was delicious. Everything was very enjoyable and prices were extremely reasonable.

Our only suggestion for this wonderful local spot is that they maybe dress it up a little with table cloths, and get rid of the handful of folding plastic chairs at a few of the tables. The gourmet menu was totally unexpected.

Had a wonderful dinner at Taste. The meal was perfect. Pan seared scallops with risottio. The service is very good. When in Hobe Sound make sure you drop by.
