We had been on similar tours in our area before, but this was by far the best bang for our buck. The air-boat was clean, the staff was extremely friendly and the entire experience was family friendly. The tour guide, Marshall, was very knowledgeable of the local habitat and we took some amazing photos. This is definitely worth the time and everyone local and tourist alike should check them out. 5 Stars all the way :)
Fun, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I have been on more then 20 different air boat tours from several different companies, but this one was the best. Family oriented business. Well maintained equipment. Answered all our questions. Went with a group of 6 people. Friends and family welcome. Fishing camping and tours and more offered. Rope swing from trees. No pressure from staff to do anything but relax and enjoy. No suggestion or pressure to any of our group to give a tip. We gave a big one anyway!
Thank you for your wonderful review. Please come back and see us, the wildlife season will be starting again next month.
We booked a trip with Capt Marshal. We had a wonderful tour of the Everglades and caught a couple bass. The Capt was very professional , knowledgeable with safety in mind. We were impressed with his policing of the area. He truly takes care of his section of the Everglades. I highly recommend anybody to charter Capt Marshal.
We are looking forward to our next trip!
Thank you from Toby, Capt Gus, and Capt Rick
I thank you for this great review. It was a pleasure to spend the day on the water with you gentlemen. The times spent together on a boat sure do seem to be memories well made.
Stay blessed
The Everglades are another world. I think it's a must see if you get to South Florida, and no question this is the way to do it. Our airboat ride with Marshall was amazing. He is fourth generation, this is old Florida and he and his family devote their lives to living in, understanding, and advocating for the Everglades and their preservation. I cannot imagine a better, more personalized experience than a private charter with Marshall. While we were there, French public television was even doing a segment on the daughter growing up in the Everglades. For the few hours we were there, we really felt like we we able to understand a little bit about what life is like - gators galore, fishing, driving the airboat, turtles, a family pig Humphrey. Marshall, his wife Nicole, and their kids could not have been more welcoming and knowledgeable. A very special thing for my 14 year old was visiting a small island during our airboat ride complete with ancient wild crazy strangler figs for climbing and remnants from the Native Americans who used to live there.
Thank you for your review :)
It was a pleasure to meet you and your son. Hopefully one day we will see you here again
I can't say enough about this excellent air-boat ride. I coaxed my sister who was ill with terminal cancer to take this ride. She loved it! We rode in the smaller three person boat. ( I recommend the two person boat) The tour guide was very knowledgeable about bird species and he was personable and friendly. We had much more than our moneys worth of time out there! We purchased an hours ride: One one became two or more! We were out there late in the day and the peace and quiet and sunset were amazing.
Ask to stop and just listen to the sounds of the birds and the complete lack of human noise.
This tour is an excellent value, it is not a big corporate operation , but it is a small outfit with unique personalized service. The road to Mack's Fish Camp is not well identified . The store/launch is on a row of houses right in the everglades. The store front was also not well signed so just park anywhere and ask someone where Mack's Fish Camp is. Bring a beer along!
The family proprietors of th camp are 3rd generation on that property, and so they know the glades like the back of their hand. marshall, who is One of Mark's grandson I assume, introduced us to his lovely wife and guide our tour. He is a knowledgeable, likeable, and kind person, and made our visit special. We caught some bass, including a doozie, but more importantly had a great run out on the Everglades in the airboat. Good for kids, adults and teenagers alike. not cheap, but a 650 HP engine booting across the glades doesn't come cheap, and the memory will last a. Lifetime. Well worth the visit. One tip, confirm directions to the camp with the proprietors , since it's not all that easy to locate. I relied on the map feature in ye and it let me down, leading me 3 miles away !
Thank you for the kind review.
