“Hole in the wall - with AWESOME food and service.”
Reviewed September 12, 2011

Who would have thought that this little place in a strip mall next to a 7-11 was an authentic, delicious Salvadoran restaurant? Food is superb - quality ingredients, great recipes, excellent execution. The seafood "soup" was great, the churrasco impressive, everything our party tried was very very good - all 13 people were happy (and how often does that haooen?)

“Sensational Restaurant - Truly Superb Food, Nice Folks, Reasonable Prices”
Reviewed September 6, 2011

On a whim we stopped in and we were floored by the sensational food. The outside is pretty non-descript,and the prices pretty modest, so it's almost shocking when you step inside to a very nice white linen napkin kind of atmosphere, with candlelight even. The service was so personal and warm it was almost embarrasing - they really make you feel special. The breadth of the menu is also a surprise, with a number of items that are quite special, we were even given complementary meatball appetisers, which were the best I ever had. The food is real home-made Italian, no bottled Ragu here, it's the real deal.. They have a coal-fired oven and make pizza that is just like in Naples, with the fine crisp dough and wide choice of toppings to boot. Come here when you have plenty of time (the service is not rushed) and relax and really enjoy your meal. This is the kind of place where you can let your evening unfold - pretend you are on holiday in Europe! For sure an outstanding place.

“A hidden treasure!”
Reviewed May 7, 2011

Locals know it! The restaurant was packed at 6:30 pm. We got the last table! The Sangre de Guida imported from Italy was full of fruit and flavorful! The corn tamales were so good! The New Zealand Mussels sauteed in Red sauce with peppers and onions were huge and spectacular!!! (even better over linguini!!), Churrasco Marinero (Skirt steak w/ shrimp) was tender and cooked perfectly to order, and the eggplant Parmigiana was tender & perfect!!! Home made coconut flan was the perfect finish to a unbelievable meal!! You must try this restaurant!
