Wow. A friend found Peg's restaurant on Yelp! (can I write that name on TripAdvisor?) and we decided to eat here while in St. Pete for a work conference. The drive was shorter that we thought, and the experience was LIGHTS OUT! Literally.
We were a large party and sat down at a table out on the veranda under a roof during an incoming storm. Lightning flashed, and right when our entrees were served, the power went out.
So what do you do when your on a business trip, eating at a brewery/restaurant and the power cuts out? Finish your food by candlelight, drink some more craft beer, and sit back and enjoy the ambiance.
The food was fantastic, but the beer was even better. Resolution Ale is on my top-ten list now, and we received an impromptu brewery tour at the end our delightful meal. What more can one ask for?!
Thanks to the staff for their laid-back attitude and excellent service.
