We booked the 2 hour birding/photo tour and ended up being the only 2 on the boat. Drew was our guide for the trip, and he was fantastic - very knowledgeable about the environment and the wildlife. We saw dolphins on the way out, and a lot of different birds. Unfortunately, Drew said that he felt a little disappointed that he wasn't able to find some more unusual things (such as different fish, etc), but we had a great time regardless. We booked as part of a package deal through Expedia. We were staying on Fort Myers Beach, so we made a day-trip of it by eating at Marker 8 in Goodland, as suggested by Drew. It's on the water and just up the road from the marina, and was just as Drew described it - a hole in the wall with good food.
If you're looking for a nice way to get out on the water that doesn't involve kayaking or a fishing pole, this is a great option with a very personable and knowledgeable guide.
