At the south end of Main Street there are hundreds of acres of natural land preserved just as it was a hundred years ago. In addition to the natural land there is a lake, a pavilion, boardwalks,a playground and nice restrooms. The pavilion can be used for large group meetings and has seating for over 50. Eagles, Hawks, owls, deer, Bobcats, foxes, alligators, huge spiders all are here.

A wonderful Nature Park to relax and disappear into nature! In a few short minutes here you'll soon forget you are in mid-city! Bring the family and even a picnic lunch! Full rest room facilities, picnic tables and even running water!

Was in the area and had time to kill. This is a short hiking trail, but was fun to do. If you have an hour or so to kill and you like nature, bird watching, and walking boardwalks, definitely stop and add to your places you have visited.

It is nestled between roads so you do hear traffic, but its not bad.
