My family and I reserved a room four months ahead for graduation season, and when we arrived to our room it reeked of nasty cigarettes. My sister's lungs as well as mine were hurting like hell. We told them and they were hesitant to change our room because they said it was a "non-smoking room" so it was impossible. We had their front desk employee come up and see for herself and she finally decided to change our room. The rest of our stay was mediocre, whenever you turned on the air after a while there would be a burnt smell in the engine of the air conditioner. The breakfast was bland and terrible as well. Lastly, when we left my father forgot his blazer in the closet and we didn't realize until we got home. We called the first time and they said they would have a housekeeper go and check and then get back to us. Two hours later...no one got back to us and I had to call again. The lady at the front desk then said that she would check herself and she would call back. THREE HOURS LATER....NO CALL, NOTHING! I had to call AGAIN for the 3rd time and she was like "I was really busy, and I didn't find the blazer either." Clearly, one of their employees stole the blazer if it hasn't been found the whole day. I would NOT recommend staying here. Service is terrible, It is worth spending $80 more bucks at a nicer hotel than this dying hotel chain.

Arrived Thursday 5/1 check in easy. Front desk called asking if we needed anything! Very nice...unfortunately that's as nice as our experience got! This is an old building, outdated furnishings, antiquated a/c, outdoor corridors, parking facing rooms. Free breakfast looked unappetizing and the buffet area was filthy with large spills of milk, dirty counter tops and very limited selection. Overheard another guest complain the bagel tasted like cardboard! There were guests with dogs both large and small barking during the night! Ice machine outside near room 236 was loud and disturbing each time it was used late at night! The worst was that housekeeping NEVER CAME to make beds or provide fresh towels! Called front desk Tequila rudely suggested I had do not disturb sign out, NO I DID NOT! Then stated housekeeping left for the day come to front desk if you want towels and hung up!!! Better hotels had three night minimum stay for graduation weekend and much higher room rates, BUT you get what you pay for! Don't stay here. The absolute worst hotel experience ever- it's a bad motel! Not worth the money saved! UF parents book early some place else! Gators sleep better in the swamps!

Stayed one night while in town. Property is not fancy - musty smell in the 3rd building elevator - but the room was squeaky clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was basic. Good value for the money!

Clean, friendly, would highly recommend to friends and family. Close to hospital and doctor offices, Staff extremely friendly and helpful. The lift at the pool is extremely helpful for handicapped visitors. Pool is always clean and in good repair.

Our grandson now lives in Gainesville, FL & this hotel is not only very convenient to his home, but also clean, friendly and suits our needs. It is also extremely close to a large mall, and many places to eat in all price ranges.
