Description: Thank you for visiting Harry's Seafood Bar & Grille! A distinctively different menu, the food of Harry's Seafood Bar and Grille captures the essence of a city not only known worldwide as the birthplace of Jazz but also the birthplace of a unique style of cooking. We've taken the best of Cajun, Creole and Southern flavors infused with a current day twist to create some of our most popular dishes like Shrimp and Scallop Orleans, Grilled Chicken Baton Rouge, Crab Crusted Blackened Red Fish, Bourbon Street Salmon and French Quarter Beef Tenderloin to name a few.

“Great Cajun and Creole Food”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Dinner at Harry's was a pleasant surprise for someone who remembers Gainesville restaurants in the early 70's. Excellent Cajun and Creole cuisine, including shrimp and grits, gumbo and etoufee. I hope to return soon to sample some other menu items that sounded delicious. Atmosphere was fun if a little on the loud side. Lovely downtown location with lots of outdoor seating.

“Good Restaurant”
Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

I ordered the Chicken Jolie Blonde and it was good. It was a tiny spicy but good. Nothing spectacular but overall good. The restaurant was good but nothing really memorable. The thing I liked was that it was really like New Orleans. I could tell it was really authentic flavors. That was the best part.

“great food”
Reviewed August 22, 2013

we had the shrimp and grits and the grilled trout. The waiter was really helpful in helping us decide (first time eating here and so many entrees to choose from) and he was nice and fast service.

“Outstanding dinner”

We went when we took our daughter to UF. The food was amazing. We had the crab cakes, jambalaya, blackened fish, and our favorite, the shrimp and crawfish fondue.

“Outdoor seating with variety -excellent location in the heart of downtown Gainesville”
Reviewed August 10, 2013

New Orleans based menu with American options. The short ribs and most New Orleans seafood dishes are consistently good. The fresh bread smelled and tasted wonderful with a flavored butter. Caesar salad is an excellent main dish as well - very large - and the burgers are kids' favorites. The inside atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing. Sitting outside puts you street side for the walk around crowd on a Gainesville weekend crowd. The restaurant is centrally located with street parking. It is a fun meeting place but does get very crowded during Gator football season. The servers were very nice but a little slow on both occasions. I have visited.
