“nice place to eat and listen to live music”

Pizzas and Salads are really good and fresh. It is great to be able to listen to Jazz and eat without being rushed. IF YOU WANT TO WATCH THE MUSICIANS, MAKE SURE YOU GET RESERVATIONS IN THE BACK ROOM.

“my favorite restaurant!”
Reviewed February 3, 2010

This is one of the very best restaurants in Gainesville. THe pasta botticelli is amazing. Their cosmos are deadly good and they have Jazz nights with live music. The brunch on sunday is delicious. If you have never been you must go! Love it!

“It's not the Pizza place near campus but a gourmet treat”
Reviewed December 29, 2009

What dingbats to confuse this perineal great restaurant with the Pizza place down the street. It's the Seven O Six....I have been in the food service business and know what to expect in a dining place. After over 20 years of eating here several times a year I have to say I have not ever had a bad meal here. I will be there again for New Year's Eve. Always good service and good food and decent prices.

“A warm welcome, excellent service and delicious food”
Reviewed September 19, 2009

Leonardo's 706 has been in Gainesville for more than 20 years as well as I can recall. Although the interior is somewhat rustic there is rotating art work exhibited throughout the restaurant for diners to enjoy and the food is upscale and always delicious. The two owners frequently welcome you to the restaurant and are anxious to have you enjoy your meal even going so far as making items occasionally that are not on the menu. Wine glasses are somewhat small for the price but there is a decent selection of wine and beer as well as regular bar service. Leonardo's has delicious appetizers and salads and their rolls dripping with butter make a napkin a necessity. Entrees range from pizza to pasta and beyond. Their pizza is California style with a thin crust and without the more common tomato sauce topping. I particularly enjoy their shrimp pesto pizza which is no longer on the menu but the owner will usually allow the kitchen to prepare it if asked. They quite often make a wonderful, if somewhat expensive, Chilean seabass special which you should not miss. Finally, the desserts are absolutely decadent and worth a trip by themselves. If you are in need of a Sunday brunch Leonardo's 706 has one of the best around.
