Leery of Asian restaurants as a rule, I own a commercial kitchen and have seen the health reports. went for 1 lunch and 1 dinner.
Ordered Pad Thai at dinner, it came without cilantro. Asked for cilantro and when we got the bill there was a $ 3.00 upcharge. Are you kidding me? I complained & they immediately took it off.
3 of us at lunch, Slooooow Service. Non caring woman waiting on us. We had to wave her over to order. So-so food. Would not go back.

We were a little surprised, this time, after countless visits there, by the very slow service. We were on our way to a play at the Hippodrome, & ask our waiter what would be the quickest items on the menu- we ordered duck soup & udon noodles, as instructed. We waited 45 minutes for our orders, & they came just as we had to leave to make the curtain call on time. They offered no apology & seemed like they didn't care. They were going to put the food in to-go containers, but another 10 minutes went by, & they never returned, except to bring the bill.

Not impressed. Won't be going back.

We ate at Chop Sticks twice during a recent weekend in Gainesville. The restaurant has an eclectic blend of Asian cuisines focused around large bowls of noodles and soups, platters of popular Chinese dishes and surprisingly good sushi. The Seafood Udon with coconut milk was tasty, as were the curries. Reasonably prices and generous portions make it easy to understand how this is a neighborhood favorite.

By far the worst service we have ever had. Extremely slow service and servers no where to be found, had to walk around the restaurant to find someone to help. Will never return.

New to me in Gainesville. Located on Bivens Arm Lake with seating overlooking natural Florida lake with nice plants and wildlife. Wonderful wait service. Food was delicious. Really impressed with tempura vegetables and fish soup. Went twice in two weeks. Will go again soon. Nice around 5 p.m. when the sun is still coming from the west and spotlighting the trees on the far shore.
