My wife had eaten at Flying Biscuit with some co-workers so I decided to give it a try with her. We ate there the day after Christmas and again two weeks later. Both times I had the Meggxican Wrap and both times it was very good. It is a rather unique dish and quite tasty.
The biscuits that are served with the meal are quite unique and wonderful. They seem to be sprinkled with sugar which gives them a great flavor. Topped with butter and their homemade apple butter, these things are great. The other treat that they serve is their "creamy, dreamy grits". Again, very unique and quite tasty even though I am not that big on grits.
Their coffee is very good and they do a good job of keeping your cup full. But they're proud of it - $2.25 a cup.
The day after Christmas, they were very busy and the service was a bit on the slow side. But I do not hold that against them given the crowds. On the next visit, the service was much faster.
It's not cheap - breakfast for two is going to set you back at least $20. But I'd go back.
