“Lovely experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2012

It was a bit crowded but it was a Saturday. They have an amazing variety of butterflies as well as some birds not found in the US. u The butterflies land on you if you stand still :)

“Absolutely Beautiful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 30, 2012

Amazing experience. Whether as a romantic outing, family outing, or just a place to find some peace the butterfly garden is for you. Beautiful of all types and explanations of what they do there. There is also a massive wall with every type of butterfly imaginable.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 19, 2012

Well worth a visit. You feel like staying inside all day long. It is just so peaceful with a waterfall and birds and of course the main attraction, butterflies, flying around. The whole area is landscaped beautifully. You get a key with pictures of the butterflies and plants for you to identify as you go around. Our favorite is the Blue Morpho a gigantic, big beautiful blue butterfly! Since the Butterfly Rainforest is attached to the Florida Museum of Natural History after you are done you can stroll through their permanent collection which is free all the time! They have a great fossil collection and some interpretive halls about Florida's early indigenous people.
