Well worth a visit. You feel like staying inside all day long. It is just so peaceful with a waterfall and birds and of course the main attraction, butterflies, flying around. The whole area is landscaped beautifully. You get a key with pictures of the butterflies and plants for you to identify as you go around. Our favorite is the Blue Morpho a gigantic, big beautiful blue butterfly! Since the Butterfly Rainforest is attached to the Florida Museum of Natural History after you are done you can stroll through their permanent collection which is free all the time! They have a great fossil collection and some interpretive halls about Florida's early indigenous people.

The Butterfly Rainforest is a beautiful garden with hundreds of beautiful butterflies! During the weekends the museum sells plants that attract butterflies in affordable prices.

Really enjoyed the butterfly rainforest with my grandchildren. Saw a lot of butterflies and were able to touch some of them up close.
