Beautiful setting! The food was excellent. We had the 4 oz filet which you could cut with a spoon. It was expertly prepared. Our server was very attentive. A great experience!

The establishment is very attractive and on a Lake with lots of Rose bushes. The food was excellent. Definitely will pay them a return visit.
BUT; our server was overworked serving several tables including one with a party of 14 to 16. We had to ask several times for assistance. The menu alludes to the fact that noise level from surrounding conversation is a bit high. I could not hear our waitress as she was explaining the specials. When you go, make a reservation, even though not required for lunch, and ask for seating inside as it is quieter. We will go back as the food is absolutely great!

Beautiful old plantation house in a great location (well off the beaten track), no tourists here just locals, which was a refreshing change and very tasty plates of food served. Our server was superb, great explanation of the dishes and speedy service! The Lobster bisque was delicious. Not cheap, but well worth a visit, go discover for yourselves....

A beautiful setting for a lunch with girlfriends with window seats overlooking the lake - an excellent start to the afternoon. However, the service was not as expected. Our server looked tired, even at 1pm, and she was not attentive. We needed to get up and go looking for additional silverware, and again to order coffee. The food was good, not great, but we decided not to stay for dessert. A little disappointing.

We both had crab of some sort for dinner and when they say lump crab they mean lump crab. The crab cakes were delicious as was the stuffed shrimp. But the crab cake was the winner. The staff was very nice and pleasant. The only issue was the dessert. We had seen on line they had homemade banana cream pie so we didn’t order an appetizer in order to get the dessert. Wouldn’t do that again. We both thought the pie was awful. It was like a pudding with no meringue just a bunch of whip cream on top. Will go back again as as the entree was excellent but would order an appetizer instead!
