This museum has some neat planes and military memorabilia. It's free to get in which is nice. If you have someone in the military it's good to go and see but the museum is small compared to others in the area.

The museum is well worth going to when you are in the Fort Walton Beach area! Outside of the museum are various aircraft you can walk around and view. Inside the museum are displays of various aircraft and memorabilia from wars and conflicts. There are so many great displays to read and photos to see, it's a fantastic place to go if you are interested in military history and/or aircraft!

My grandson LOVES to spend an afternoon at the "airplane park", as he calls it. The staff is so nice and friendly too!

The Armament Museum has loads of historical information describing the development of Air Force munitions - much of which was accomplished at nearby Eglin Air Force Base. The museum is accessible to all and provides great insight into the comprehensive nature of weapons development and testing. As stated before, a great place to visit during less that great weather or to take a break from the nearby beaches.

We went by the museum, but it was closed. No big deal because there are so many things to see and do outside the museum that you can spend hours just walking around. We had a great time.
