Air Force Armament Museum is a must place to see. Being retired Air Force, I like anything that has wings or things to do with aircraft. However this is for anyone both with and without military affiliation, any brach of service. It is not a quick walk through to enjoy it, but will take time if you want to read the display information. It tells a lot about those who servied in the past as well as our current servcie memebers as well as the development of the AF systems of today. Great place for family members of all ages.

So nice that we have something like this to see in our country. I would recommend it if you are in the area. They really do a nice job with displaying the aircraft. And it is all free

I've been here a few times and enjoyed it. Great that I can take kids and touch planes and stuff. Lots of things to learn about - if you don't have a problem with things that go BOOM.

My husband had driven by this several times on golf outings but had never stopped until he and I were there last week (Feb. 21). Well worth the time, very interesting and FREE! One of the best parts is, as you are outside looking at the aircraft on display, you get treated regularly to flyovers by aircraft from nearby Eglin Air Force Base.

The museum has so much to offer in itself, but volunteer interpreters add so much to the experience. The volunteers are former or retired Navy or Marine personnel and have a story to tell.
