By other reviews, the wife and I had gumbo, raw oysters and a cheese burger. The gumbo was excellent, oysters really fresh and great, the cheese burger was one of the best we have ever eaten. We'll be headed back to try other dishes before our vacation ends. The service was super fast and very friendly. I over heard the bartender say, they serve over six hundred a day, during top vacation season. As other's said the place is a little dark and has a musty smell upon arrival. But, a small thing to look over when your order hits the table.

I started dining at the High Tide in 1984. This place holds so many memories for me. The staff is like family, the food is delicious, and there is also a bar for entertainment. Highly recommend.

I have actually eaten here several times and the seafood is very good. I do like having beer and oysters. They have seafood plates with fried shrimp and fish. The place is a nice local restaurant. Go ride high and eat at The High Tide.
