OK. So I thought my wife was insane when said we should go check this place out. It really looked like an extremely dated and thrown together buffet/restaurant/bakery/karaoke joint. Plastic tablecloths, 1970's buffet bar, the whole package. But I have to say that the food was actually good, as well as the very interesting pastries (all with an Asian flare - try the 'cinnamon' roll). And the bacon. Good lord the bacon was out of this world. Crispy, thick cut, but with a nice tender aspect as well. Now I sound crazy. The only fault I had with breakfast was that the grits were a bit dry.

Anyway, don't discount this place just on looks. Pass by the Waffle House(s) and hit this joint instead. I can't speak for any meal other than breakfast, but they can cook eggs, toast and pancakes as well as an other place (of which there really aren't any - at least for breakfast). And don't leave without trying the bacon!

Sue's serves both American and Filipino cuisine. One can order from the menu but most folks try the many delicious dishes off the buffet. This restaurant is family run and they offer a wide array of entrees, salads and desserts. For those folks who have not tried Filipino food, go try it out. Alot of the Filipino food is derived from many Chinese and Spanish influences and are just as delicious. The prices are very reasonable and Sue and her family couldn't be nicer! If we lived closer, we would be there alot more often. Two thumbs up!

Was pleasantly surprised. Food was excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. Place is in an older building; however, they make a great effort on cleanliness and comfort.
This place in a joy and inexpensive!

One of Fort Walton Beach's best kept secret, the Dining Room is the domain of Sue and William. Their traditional Asian tasty cuisine creations, mouth watering desserts, and colorful salad bar are magical, drawing the maximum of flavor from the very freshest of ingredients. The staff is very friendly, service is awesome, and you will be treated like family! I highly recommend Sue's Cafe!!!
