OK. So I thought my wife was insane when said we should go check this place out. It really looked like an extremely dated and thrown together buffet/restaurant/bakery/karaoke joint. Plastic tablecloths, 1970's buffet bar, the whole package. But I have to say that the food was actually good, as well as the very interesting pastries (all with an Asian flare - try the 'cinnamon' roll). And the bacon. Good lord the bacon was out of this world. Crispy, thick cut, but with a nice tender aspect as well. Now I sound crazy. The only fault I had with breakfast was that the grits were a bit dry.
Anyway, don't discount this place just on looks. Pass by the Waffle House(s) and hit this joint instead. I can't speak for any meal other than breakfast, but they can cook eggs, toast and pancakes as well as an other place (of which there really aren't any - at least for breakfast). And don't leave without trying the bacon!
