Reasonable prices, great food and service. This is a tough to find gem at the foot of Brooks Bridge (on the North side). Well worth searching for

The best seafood you can find in Destin & Fort Walton Beach - and there are a lot of fantastic places to eat in this area. Their fried green tomatoes are awesome as well!

We had lunch there. Both had an excellent fish with a tasty lemon butter sauce. The desert was also very good. An apple tart with ice cream. For the quality food and service I thought the lunch (and dinner) prices were reasonable. A great change from fried or blackened fish

We enjoyed the lovely romantic setting on the bay at night with the lights reflecting in the mirror surface on a calm current. Sitting on the shore, almost under the Brooks Bridge, this small French Restaurant has much going for it. Those who like open air seating would love the deck dining. Due to the on again/off again rain few dared to risk it which gave us a wonderful view from inside the restaurant!

Tables were adorned with fresh white cloth napkins and tablecloths with butcher paper overlaid onto them for extra sanitation. The décor was simple with no table arrangements of any type.

The food was delicately prepared and attractively served. Each of our meals was delicious except for the "baby"green bean side which had little to no flavor and was chewy instead of crisp tender. The potato patty served with the fish was lightly seasoned so as not to over take the mild flavor of the grouper. The individual French Bread loaves were flaky and tender. Soft, instead of cold, butter would have been nice. The Seafood Amalie had large tasty morsels of giant shrimp and sea scallops, but the muscles were overly strong tasting. The French Silk Pie was the finishing touch on the evening. The frothy cappuccino was sprinkled with a large amount of ground cinnamon. The regular coffee was very brisk and dark.

The server was obviously very experienced and anticipated our every need. He was helpful in our selections of our entrees as well. He was professional without being overly friendly or intrusive as we engaged our table mates in conversation. Other servers check on us as well.
