Stopped in for lunch. Excellent views of bay from outdoor dining area. Food was very good and well priced. Service was prompt and good. Will be going back for romantic dinner in near future.

This is a GREAT little and romantic restaurant on the water in Fort Walton Beach near the Brooks Bridge. The Escargot in a pastry is to die for delicious! The chef takes the snails out of their shells and places just the snails in a light and very thin french pastry pie that includes the garlic, butter and a few other seasonings in the pastry. It was sooooo good!!!!! For my entre, I had the Grouper Meunire which was a good but a little on the saltier side for my taste. The entre came with a mashed potato that had some fresh vegtables (carrots, corn and green beans) mixed into the mashed potatoes that were very delicious! Although, I did not have desert, they seem to have one of the BEST desert menu selections on the Emerad Coast. You can dine inside with views of the water or sit outside on their waterside deck which has seating with umbrellas you can sit under if preferred. The care from the servers was excellent but I would suggest they carry bread crummers to scoop of bread crums from the table.

This restaurant is everything the positive reviewers have said--terrific menu but hard to find. The only thing that has not been mentioned much is the wine-specifically the wine by the glass. We had cocktails before we went to dinner, so only wanted a glass. But, the house wines they offer at a great price($5 to $6) are bad, and not fitting given the great menu. I mentioned this to the waiter at the end of the meal so he could correct it for future guests. He said you can get any wine you want by the glass as long as the bottle price is $35 or less. But, this is not spelled out on the menu--so I assume they do not encourage it.

What I think they should do is offer specific wines by the glass on the menu that are better quality--and price them in the $8 to $11 range. I hope the manager reads this and acts accordingly.

But, at least others who go there should insist on a better quality glass, even if it is not on the menu.

Tucked away and right on the water, this French restaurant was quite a find. Incredibly friendly staff, lots of patio seating and a great view. All of the flavors were so great and complex. We enjoyed the steamed mussels in garlic butter, house salad, and the scallops with mashed potatoes. The mussels were perfectly cooked, the homemade salad dressing was creamy with a spice, so good. And the scallops were so tender and smothered in a decadent sauce. Even their bread (also homemade) was perfect, crispy outside, soft inside. The timing and temperature of all of the food was perfect. Highly recommend this hidden gem.
