Our recent stay at Waterscape A401 was amazing. The view was great -- full gulf view and view of the nearby pier. The unit faces east, so it is bright in the morning, but watching sunrise was beautiful! That also meant that the balcony was not too hot or bright in the afternoon.
We vacationed as an extended family -- 4 adults and 4 children. The two main bedrooms both had sliding glass doors with access to the balcony which was great. The third bedroom (den) was roomy, and the bunk nook was a fun treat for the kids. There was plenty of space for all 8 of us and closets to stash our beach toys/life jackets/boogie boards.
The beach was beautiful of course and the water was amazingly clear. The kids loved the pool area -- the lazy river, cargo net, sprinklers. Since we vacationed in October and the nights were a little cool, they really loved the heated pool.
The only criticism is that the unit could use a bit of updating and refreshing (there was evidence of water damage in the ceiling of one of the bathrooms), but it certainly didn't get in the way of us enjoying our stay.
