From the founding, back in WWII, to the recent thrilling work of Seal Team 6, from rescuing the captain from those pirates in Somalia to taking out Bin Laden, the stories are all here, along with artifacts and pictures. There are numerous interpretive exhibits with mannequins in uniform and collections themed together. It is interesting and also feels like paying one's respects. It's a great place, I get tears in my eyes every time I visit, which is usually once every year or year and a half.

This place looks huge from the outside---I didn't think we'd be able to get through it all with only an hour left before they closed. But we were in & out with time to spare. Even if you watched every video clip and read every placard you could run the whole circuit in 90 minutes

I think it's great that a group of (friendly) volunteers has put this collection together and staffs the place. Is it worth $8 a head???? You decide----but I won't be back until they expand a bit more.

...you like the military, are a veteran or have family who have served. It's informative, cheap and makes you feel more pride about your country.

Being retired military couple, and spent considerable amount of time in Key West and exposure to the Navy Diver community, we were looking forward to the UDT Seal Museum. Directions, both on Google & Mapquest were erroneous, finally asked a mailman (letter carrier) "how do we get there?" We found it, but wish we'd saved our $16 admission, and not found it. Oh well, the cause we donated to was good, that's what counted.

Navy Seal Museum is awesome experience, full of history, memorabilia, personal notes and memoirs from real life Navy Seal heros. You may even catch a retired Seal or two on the premises at your visit. There are also special events. Across the parking lot is a fabulous beach, so bring your swim suits and enjoy the beach while you are there!
